In my clinical practice working with adolescents and adults, I provide therapeutic support for life’s challenges such as: friendship/relationship issues, bullying, identity formation confusion, overwhelming stress, self-blame and criticism, disordered eating, anxiety, depression, mood issues, and history of or ongoing trauma.
I have had the honor of working with many clients and their families struggling with these barriers to their best life. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, connecting your lived experience with my own lived experience and clinical skills to create your personal therapy goals.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the State of Maine. As an LCPC, I am licensed to provide clinical psychotherapy to individuals, families, and groups. I have intensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I hold a national certification in Trauma Therapy (TF-CBT).
In Individual therapy, I treat adolescents and adults in my South Berwick, Maine office or via Telehealth, where we co-create your treatment and, side by side, move toward your goals. Each client’s treatment is woven within a modality that I have intensive training and clinical competence in.
In group skills training, we have the opportunity to come together with other adolescents or adults, and learn DBT Skills, leaning toward an energizing, present and mindful life. Through DBT, clients learn Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness.
Are you looking for therapy for your adolescent or yourself? Let’s connect, contact me via phone or email and we can get started. I am looking forward to meeting you~
