I am a licensed clinical professional counselor with my MA in counseling from Lesley University. I consider myself a person-centered and strengths-based therapist. Together we can decide what styles of counseling work best for you. I strongly believe that through connection is how we heal, and place high importance on developing a trusting and secure relationship. Additionally in our sessions we may use methods of counseling such as CBT, TF-CBT, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness.
I work with preteens, teens, and adults. I have experience supporting those impacted by: depression, anxiety, OCD, and am nationally certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have a strong passion for working with pre-teens and teens. I love helping them navigate the ups and downs of middle school and high school.
I also have specialized training in perinatal mental health. As a mother of young children myself, I understand how challenging conception, pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting are in today’s world. There are so many pressures (internal and external) put on parents today as we go through a life-changing and incredibly important experience. I would love to work with you as you navigate this shift.
I look forward to speaking with you to see if you feel we are a good fit.
