Sometimes, life throws things at us that are difficult to manage, whether that be a cancer diagnosis, the loss of a loved one, or a difficult change in our lives. My role as a therapist is to meet you where you are and to walk alongside you on whatever path you have found yourself on.
I have worked with people ranging in age from 5 to 95 with challenges including cancer, pain, anxiety, depression, and grief during my 15 year career as a Clinical Social Worker. Currently, I am working with adults 18 and older.
I received my Master’s in Social Work from the University of New Hampshire and I am currently a Doctor of Social Work student at Simmons University. I have had additional training in grief, anxiety, depression, end of life, adoption and play therapy. I am also a Registered Yoga Techer and I blend breath, mindfulness, and even yoga postures into my work with clients.
I am seeing patients in person in my South Berwick office and for telehealth.
It takes courage to ask for help. Your story and your needs are unique and it is important to find a therapist that is a good fit. I look forward to getting to know you and having the opportunity to answer any questions that you might have.
